Her paintings hang on walls all around the world. Some of the sales have been so special that they have been reported by the news media. Much of Wenche Kildahl’s work is inspired by the Northern Norwegian nature.
The artist tries to capture that special moment and visualise it in the future.

Pictorial artist Wenche Kildahl was born 29.12.56 at Gibostad, Senja, in Northern Norway. I have lived in Tromsø since completing my education in 1979. My highlight at primary school was drawing. I loved to draw and paint landscapes.
As I am so fond of nature, it was great to convey this in painted pictures. I also enjoyed drawing animals, people and other subjects. I was extremely proud to leave primary school with the top grade in drawing.
